Hermana Pollo

Hey yall!!!! So this week was really good! We had our Multizona this week and we had a big talk about using Off and how the hermanas have to wear pants in the afternoons because one of the elders in my zone got Dengue and so our president went off on protection. So that was kinda fun and now that is like the joke of the zone or at least with my companion, is about dengue. But other than that, I also bought a toy chicken because here I'm Hermana Pollo "sister chicken". It is really funny. I love it! It is my new daughter! Other than that stuff, all is good in Argentina and all is good in the work. We are working really hard with some people and they are progressing very fast. One of my investigators was trying to quit smoking. We tried little by little, but it wasn't working for him and he told us that he just has to stop all at once. I loved that because he put all his faith in the Lord that he would help him stop smoking, and that is going from 20 a day to 0. He is going so strong! Everytime he has the desire, he reads the Book of Mormon and it just testifies of all the power it has from the Lord to help us in anything we need! Whatever you guys are going through, turn to the Lord and read the Book of Mormon, this will help your life muchisimo!!! Just have to act in faith. 1 Month until General Conference

Yay we had a baptism this week por fin!!!!!!! It was so good, the family came with 8/14 of their kids so that was good!!! and the kids were so happy to get baptized! We also had two of the young men who are 16 years old baptize them. It was really cute to see them have their first baptism. Other than that, like always, not much happened. We had a tranquila semana and for two days I was with a different hermana. We had a great time together and we made brownies which was my first time in the mission. They were so good!!!! Remember that we are one month away from general conference and so we have a little time to prepare!!!! But how awesome it is to learn more about Joseph Smith and his story and how important it is to know that through Joseph Smith, we have the church of Jesus Christ again on the earth and the chance to have the gospel in our lives and feel this happiness that it brings into our lives! Happy New Year ya'll!!!!!! This week was really good! Well, in some ways. First of all, New Years Day was just a chill day, we didn't do anything, just hung out with other missionaries and played games and watched movies. It was really fun! Other than that, there was only one other thing that really happened on Saturday, which was really kinda funny. So what happened is that this day was kinda hard for us because we didn't really feel very good, but we had so many people that yelled at us when we were in the street. Lots of members from other places, but the funniest one was when this drunk guy yelled at us and said "hermanas, when are you going to come and visit me?" and he crossed the street to come and talk to us, which we did, and he said that it was really hard to read our names and that they were in English so he didn't understand our names, but then he said that he wanted a book so we gave him a folleto and then he told us to give him one of our chu...

Transfers!

Hey everyone, this week was kinda crazy! It was my last week in my first area, Italia Centro.. RIP... but now I´m in a new area called San Martin (Misiones, Posadas) it is so cool and way different than my first area. This place has red dirt, hills, and trees. So it's way different than what I ́m used to, but I know that it will be really good for me, and that God has prepared this place and the people for me and my companion. Before I actually came to this area, in my older area, I ran into a tree... I thought you might like to know that. The only tree in Formosa, and I happened to run into it. But I ́m fine, I just have a little mark not too noticeable, but I'll send a picture. My new companion ́s name is Hermana Rowlings and she is from Nebraska. She only has for months left in the mission, so this will probably end up being her last area, so I have no idea how long I will be here.
