Busy, Busy, Busy

So this week was really good. We had multizona, which I understood a lot more this time than the first time, so YAY! progress!! We had our interviews with the president the next day and that went well, but later that day my companion and I traveled down to Resistencia, then the next day I went to a different place for tramites, which is just the first step of me being legal in Argentina. It was fun, but it was kinda weird at times because I didnt have my companion and I went with two other Elders before we meet up with another Hermana. It was weird being the only Hermana. After that we had transfers. I am in the same area with the same compaion. So no change. But, I am finally out of my training, so that is weird, don't feel too ready yet, but I'm sure it will feel good. This Thursday my companion is going to Resistencia for a leader meeting with a diffrent Hermana here, and for one day I have to be with her companion who has the same time as me in the mission, so I am really...

Just Another Day In The Mission

So this week went by really fast, like not really sure what really happened, but just lots of teaching. No more bloody noses so that's good. This coming week is my last week in training and not really sure if im ready to leave. But it should be for the best. It will definently help me grow as a teacher and in my spanish. This week we find out if I'm staying in my area and who my new companion will be, because I will probably not stay with my trainer... sad day. But, still alive and living every moment. One thing that did happen this week, was we were with a recently converted member, and he asked if I would say the prayer in English. I was like, Heck ya!! But it was a little harder then I thought. I kept saying Spanish words and sometimes I would stop and have to think about how to say the word in English, or what a phrase in English is to say in a prayer. So, at the same time of me feeling like I haven´t been progressing in my Spanish, this was the Lord showing me that I'...

Solo Uno Tiempo

This week was good. On Tuesday I got another nose bleed, and it was really bad, like the members we live with took us to an actual hospital. They took x-rays, and my blood, and my pressure just to tell me that it all looks fine and that I just have a fragile nose so that was great. But don't worry, because we were back out working that afternoon. Now the new joke for me and my companion is while my brother was dying from his mission (leaving the mission) I was actually dying. But, it's probably just God trying to help me stay distracted from all that stuff at home. Saturday we had a mini CCM, which is when all the youth come and have little name tags and get to be a missionary for one day. They learn and hear all the lessons that we teach and what being a missionary is like. Then for two hours they come and contact with us. It was good, but my group was full of 12 year olds and that was hard to control all of them. But it was fun to see how excited they were to talk to the peop...

Bloody Noses

Image
Well this was one weird week. Just because I have been trying to not stay focused on my brother coming home this week and the Lord really did bless me with something to keep my mind off of that. Bloody noses. Ok here is the story. Two weeks ago I had a bloody nose. Then this past Friday night when I was being a good missionary, and saying my personal night time prayers, I all of a sudden had a bloody nose. It was dark, so I didn't know at first. So then I was like, ok something is up, I went to turn on the light and there was blood all over my hands and on the wall. Oops!... but we took care of that and then the next day we were walking to our lunch appointment and all of a sudden in the middle of the street my nose started bleeding again. I was just like, really?? Anyways, we didn't have anything on us to clean up with, only water, so my companion is poring water into my had and I'm throwing it on my face trying to clean my self up. Then this guy walks by and is like, you ...

One Long Week

Ché what up! I do have to say that this was one long week. It was cold for like three days, then the other days it was hot. Also, all the people we contacted, and then went to go talk to again, either didn´t have time or weren´t in there houses. So that was hard.   Everyday we either taught one person or didn't teach at all. So that is what is hard. But, this Sunday was really good.   We had an investigator come to church and the elders had a baptism after, so she went to that and after the baptism she said she wanted to be baptized!  So that was really awesome!!!  And, that same day we we went to visit one of our investigators and we taught her 5 things to live in this life and we asked her what her favorite part was and she said baptism, and so I invited her to be baptized and she said yes!!! So that is awesome. This is when I know that the Lord is one amazing person and works in diffrent ways. I love this church so much and am so glad that I am here serving Him! I...
