Bloody Noses

Well this was one weird week. Just because I have been trying to not stay focused on my brother coming home this week and the Lord really did bless me with something to keep my mind off of that. Bloody noses. Ok here is the story. Two weeks ago I had a bloody nose. Then this past Friday night when I was being a good missionary, and saying my personal night time prayers, I all of a sudden had a bloody nose. It was dark, so I didn't know at first. So then I was like, ok something is up, I went to turn on the light and there was blood all over my hands and on the wall. Oops!... but we took care of that and then the next day we were walking to our lunch appointment and all of a sudden in the middle of the street my nose started bleeding again. I was just like, really?? Anyways, we didn't have anything on us to clean up with, only water, so my companion is poring water into my had and I'm throwing it on my face trying to clean my self up. Then this guy walks by and is like, you need to go to the hospital (which is just a clinic and really close), so he walked us over there and we were talking to the doctor and she is asking me all these questions about if I have asthma, or allergies, or stomach pains. I was all, no to all, but I do have a headache. She said, oh it's probably because it's cold, which I was like, I'm from Montana it's always cold and I never had bloody noses before the mission. So then she was just like, well do you walk a lot? Which of course we do, we are missionary´s, so she told me no walking far distances for two days. So I can't work because of a bloody nose? really? But I'm better now, I hope I'll keep you all updated about this. That is really all that happened this week. Love you all and miss you all, just always remember that the Lord knows you, and what you are going thorough, and you can always turn to Him when you need Him and you can always turn to the scriptures. 1 Month until General Conference

Yay we had a baptism this week por fin!!!!!!! It was so good, the family came with 8/14 of their kids so that was good!!! and the kids were so happy to get baptized! We also had two of the young men who are 16 years old baptize them. It was really cute to see them have their first baptism. Other than that, like always, not much happened. We had a tranquila semana and for two days I was with a different hermana. We had a great time together and we made brownies which was my first time in the mission. They were so good!!!! Remember that we are one month away from general conference and so we have a little time to prepare!!!! But how awesome it is to learn more about Joseph Smith and his story and how important it is to know that through Joseph Smith, we have the church of Jesus Christ again on the earth and the chance to have the gospel in our lives and feel this happiness that it brings into our lives! Happy New Year ya'll!!!!!! This week was really good! Well, in some ways. First of all, New Years Day was just a chill day, we didn't do anything, just hung out with other missionaries and played games and watched movies. It was really fun! Other than that, there was only one other thing that really happened on Saturday, which was really kinda funny. So what happened is that this day was kinda hard for us because we didn't really feel very good, but we had so many people that yelled at us when we were in the street. Lots of members from other places, but the funniest one was when this drunk guy yelled at us and said "hermanas, when are you going to come and visit me?" and he crossed the street to come and talk to us, which we did, and he said that it was really hard to read our names and that they were in English so he didn't understand our names, but then he said that he wanted a book so we gave him a folleto and then he told us to give him one of our chu...

Hey everyone, this week was kinda crazy! It was my last week in my first area, Italia Centro.. RIP... but now I´m in a new area called San Martin (Misiones, Posadas) it is so cool and way different than my first area. This place has red dirt, hills, and trees. So it's way different than what I ́m used to, but I know that it will be really good for me, and that God has prepared this place and the people for me and my companion. Before I actually came to this area, in my older area, I ran into a tree... I thought you might like to know that. The only tree in Formosa, and I happened to run into it. But I ́m fine, I just have a little mark not too noticeable, but I'll send a picture. My new companion ́s name is Hermana Rowlings and she is from Nebraska. She only has for months left in the mission, so this will probably end up being her last area, so I have no idea how long I will be here.
