20 years old!!!!

This week was really good, it is really awesome to see all the people that God has prepared for us! It is very cool to see this change that I have made in the mission and how I am growing each week! This is the last week of my companion so we can drink mate!!! And I LOVE IT!!!! It has been so awesome. Thank you for all for the birthday wishes! My birthday was really good! We had a family home evening that day and it was so fun, it really was just a birthday party for me. The members here are so awesome!!! Other than that, we just had so many good lessons with people and helping more and more people get to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is so amazing to see the changes that it makes in people, and how they have more light in their lives, and in their faces, and to see just how happy they are in their lives. I can really testify that it really does bless our lives and brings a spirit into our life that can't be found anywhere else! I am so grateful to have this Gospel in my life and that I came on a mission to help other people have the same thing in there life. A lot of people that we talk to here are like, can we come to your church or do you have to be a member or do we have to pay to come. I'm just like, WHAT? This is the Church of Jesus Christ, His teachings and His Gospel is not a secret, why would you think we would be in the streets all the time in the scorching sun if our church was a secret!!! We are here to help everyone we can to come unto Christ and follow His path to live with them all again and to bring this joy into his life!!!! 1 Month until General Conference

Yay we had a baptism this week por fin!!!!!!! It was so good, the family came with 8/14 of their kids so that was good!!! and the kids were so happy to get baptized! We also had two of the young men who are 16 years old baptize them. It was really cute to see them have their first baptism. Other than that, like always, not much happened. We had a tranquila semana and for two days I was with a different hermana. We had a great time together and we made brownies which was my first time in the mission. They were so good!!!! Remember that we are one month away from general conference and so we have a little time to prepare!!!! But how awesome it is to learn more about Joseph Smith and his story and how important it is to know that through Joseph Smith, we have the church of Jesus Christ again on the earth and the chance to have the gospel in our lives and feel this happiness that it brings into our lives! Happy New Year ya'll!!!!!! This week was really good! Well, in some ways. First of all, New Years Day was just a chill day, we didn't do anything, just hung out with other missionaries and played games and watched movies. It was really fun! Other than that, there was only one other thing that really happened on Saturday, which was really kinda funny. So what happened is that this day was kinda hard for us because we didn't really feel very good, but we had so many people that yelled at us when we were in the street. Lots of members from other places, but the funniest one was when this drunk guy yelled at us and said "hermanas, when are you going to come and visit me?" and he crossed the street to come and talk to us, which we did, and he said that it was really hard to read our names and that they were in English so he didn't understand our names, but then he said that he wanted a book so we gave him a folleto and then he told us to give him one of our chu...

Transfers!

Hey everyone, this week was kinda crazy! It was my last week in my first area, Italia Centro.. RIP... but now I´m in a new area called San Martin (Misiones, Posadas) it is so cool and way different than my first area. This place has red dirt, hills, and trees. So it's way different than what I ́m used to, but I know that it will be really good for me, and that God has prepared this place and the people for me and my companion. Before I actually came to this area, in my older area, I ran into a tree... I thought you might like to know that. The only tree in Formosa, and I happened to run into it. But I ́m fine, I just have a little mark not too noticeable, but I'll send a picture. My new companion ́s name is Hermana Rowlings and she is from Nebraska. She only has for months left in the mission, so this will probably end up being her last area, so I have no idea how long I will be here.
