Piojos...
Hey everyone! Well let's see here... we should start off with the good and juicy stuff. Well, Sunday was kinda crazy. We went to this choir thing that the stake center here does, but it really isn't a church activity, just a lot of different choirs from all over Posadas came and sang christmas songs. It was really cool and they were all so good!!! (that is not the crazy thing) but when we were going back home to our pension, we had to drop a different Hermana off at a different pension and then we had to go and get on the last colectivo of the night. That was the craziest colectivo of the whole day!!! We started off with 4 drunk guys and then one started to get mad at the driver for something that happened, then the police came and took him off and then other people started yelling and saying how he didn't do anything. So then he came back on and we started moving again. Then these three other drunk guys started cheering him on and then the other came to the back of the colectivo with the other three and started yelling just really weird stuff like they were going to fight or something. Then after more time, one of the drunk people started dancing on the bus... it was so funny and I was trying so hard not to laugh! But then we finally got to our pension and I have never been so happy!
Another thing that happened was on Monday (since it was transfers we have to work Monday if we don't travel to our new area and then have p-day Tuesday) my companion was complaining about her head itching for a really long time and then finally after like two weeks or so later, she is like "Hermana, it is now starting to hurt!" So we called the president's wife and she told us that she probably has lice... and so we went and bought the stuff to kill the lice (piojos) and we went through the whole process of getting it out, but then I had her check me because she has had it for a really long time and it turned out she gave me lice too.. so then I had to go through the process as well and we literally spent our whole Monday afternoon getting rid of the lice and cleaning all our stuff... But what a great week really, with tons of fun stuff going on! Literally I can see the Lord helping us in His work and protecting us in the streets and it makes me realize that I really am never alone in this time or in this time of my life and not only for me but it is for everyone in the world our loving Heavenly Father is always here with us helping us through our days! I love you all so much and hope that you have a good week!
one foto of us on the colectivo with the 4 drunks, one of our thanksgivings and two old ones one from the baptism and when we cleaned it and the other is when it rained and my foot got covered in the red mud.
