Feels like a Blow Dryer!

This week was actually really good!! It was a little stressful, but for all the good things that can pass in a mission. We had the wedding of one of our investigators who I have been teaching since my first transfer. So I've known her forever. All she has wanted was to be baptized for the longest time, but could not because her husband was married to someone else. It was really complicated, but she figured it all out, and she was able to get married, so we worked on all the papers and she was able to get married on Thursday!! It was a really good day! Then on Saturday, she got baptized with her son, her best friend, and the two daughters of her best friend! It was so good, but like always, something happens to make the day really hard and stressful, but because this is the Lords work, it always works out! But then Sunday the son of Olga, the lady who got married, did not want to go to church because it was to early and he was tired. So we had to try to get him there and he was complaining and yelling the whole time walking to the church. Then he didn't want to go into the sacramental room. So ya, that made it really stressful and we share a ward with two elders and they were trying to help us, but he wouldn't go in so he didn't get confirmed at that time, but 15 min later he came in all happy like nothing happened, but we just got him confirmed after sacrament and all was good. But it was really stressful! This just goes to show that all of this is the Lords work and Satan is doing all he can to stop the work of the Lord, but he can´t stop the good things from happening. I am so happy to be here on the mission and helping these people! I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ and that He lives! I know that I am here helping Him prepare people for when He will come to the earth again. Love you all so much and hope you all have a good week! 1 Month until General Conference

Yay we had a baptism this week por fin!!!!!!! It was so good, the family came with 8/14 of their kids so that was good!!! and the kids were so happy to get baptized! We also had two of the young men who are 16 years old baptize them. It was really cute to see them have their first baptism. Other than that, like always, not much happened. We had a tranquila semana and for two days I was with a different hermana. We had a great time together and we made brownies which was my first time in the mission. They were so good!!!! Remember that we are one month away from general conference and so we have a little time to prepare!!!! But how awesome it is to learn more about Joseph Smith and his story and how important it is to know that through Joseph Smith, we have the church of Jesus Christ again on the earth and the chance to have the gospel in our lives and feel this happiness that it brings into our lives! Happy New Year ya'll!!!!!! This week was really good! Well, in some ways. First of all, New Years Day was just a chill day, we didn't do anything, just hung out with other missionaries and played games and watched movies. It was really fun! Other than that, there was only one other thing that really happened on Saturday, which was really kinda funny. So what happened is that this day was kinda hard for us because we didn't really feel very good, but we had so many people that yelled at us when we were in the street. Lots of members from other places, but the funniest one was when this drunk guy yelled at us and said "hermanas, when are you going to come and visit me?" and he crossed the street to come and talk to us, which we did, and he said that it was really hard to read our names and that they were in English so he didn't understand our names, but then he said that he wanted a book so we gave him a folleto and then he told us to give him one of our chu...

Transfers!

Hey everyone, this week was kinda crazy! It was my last week in my first area, Italia Centro.. RIP... but now I´m in a new area called San Martin (Misiones, Posadas) it is so cool and way different than my first area. This place has red dirt, hills, and trees. So it's way different than what I ́m used to, but I know that it will be really good for me, and that God has prepared this place and the people for me and my companion. Before I actually came to this area, in my older area, I ran into a tree... I thought you might like to know that. The only tree in Formosa, and I happened to run into it. But I ́m fine, I just have a little mark not too noticeable, but I'll send a picture. My new companion ́s name is Hermana Rowlings and she is from Nebraska. She only has for months left in the mission, so this will probably end up being her last area, so I have no idea how long I will be here.
