Trio This Week!

This week was a little crazy. To start, I love my new companion, she is so awesome! We have so much fun together and it has been really nice being able to visit all my people with her. This week we were in a trio, so I haven't really had one week with just us. But the trio was really fun. We partied like all the time. But had lots of fun. Later this week on Saturday, we found out that one of the Hermanas had to go to the hospital to get surgery and so our Saturday morning was spent in the hospital with her and her companion, and chilling with the zone leaders while she was having the surgery. Then chilled with her during the siesta tiempo (12-4 we study during this time because the people are sleeping) then in the afternoon we went on divisiones and contacted in my area because we needed new people. Then went back to the hospital to switch companions, but this time I was with the companion of the Hermana in the hospital and we went back to our pension and she came to our church. After church we met my companion, who stayed with the Hermana in the hospital, in the pension of the other Hermanas and then had lunch with them and it was fun. So back tracking a day, Friday we had an activity about the Book of Mormon in front of the really big cross in Fromosa. It was really fun, we just contacted people with the Book of Mormon and talked about it and had a table that had stuff about our church that they could look at and talk and it was really fun. That was my week, this week should be a little crazy, but I guess we will find out. Love you all so much! Just one little thing I want to share with you is my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I know that this book is true, because I read it and I pondered about it. I know that if people read it and ponder about it they will find for themselves that this book is the word of God. With this month being about the Book of Mormon, I have really focused more of my time on it and making sure that my investigators are actually reading it, because when you read it, you not only find out that it's true, but you find out that everything about the church is true. This is one thing that I love. This week I invite all of you to read the introduction of the Book of Mormon, but to really read the last two paragraphs, because it has three invitations and testifies of what you will receive if you truly read this book. 1 Month until General Conference

Yay we had a baptism this week por fin!!!!!!! It was so good, the family came with 8/14 of their kids so that was good!!! and the kids were so happy to get baptized! We also had two of the young men who are 16 years old baptize them. It was really cute to see them have their first baptism. Other than that, like always, not much happened. We had a tranquila semana and for two days I was with a different hermana. We had a great time together and we made brownies which was my first time in the mission. They were so good!!!! Remember that we are one month away from general conference and so we have a little time to prepare!!!! But how awesome it is to learn more about Joseph Smith and his story and how important it is to know that through Joseph Smith, we have the church of Jesus Christ again on the earth and the chance to have the gospel in our lives and feel this happiness that it brings into our lives! Happy New Year ya'll!!!!!! This week was really good! Well, in some ways. First of all, New Years Day was just a chill day, we didn't do anything, just hung out with other missionaries and played games and watched movies. It was really fun! Other than that, there was only one other thing that really happened on Saturday, which was really kinda funny. So what happened is that this day was kinda hard for us because we didn't really feel very good, but we had so many people that yelled at us when we were in the street. Lots of members from other places, but the funniest one was when this drunk guy yelled at us and said "hermanas, when are you going to come and visit me?" and he crossed the street to come and talk to us, which we did, and he said that it was really hard to read our names and that they were in English so he didn't understand our names, but then he said that he wanted a book so we gave him a folleto and then he told us to give him one of our chu...

Hey everyone! Well let's see here... we should start off with the good and juicy stuff. Well, Sunday was kinda crazy. We went to this choir thing that the stake center here does, but it really isn't a church activity, just a lot of different choirs from all over Posadas came and sang christmas songs. It was really cool and they were all so good!!! (that is not the crazy thing) but when we were going back home to our pension, we had to drop a different Hermana off at a different pension and then we had to go and get on the last colectivo of the night. That was the craziest colectivo of the whole day!!! We started off with 4 drunk guys and then one started to get mad at the driver for something that happened, then the police came and took him off and then other people started yelling and saying how he didn't do anything.
