Presidente Nelson

This week was good. Multizona was a ton of fun because I understood everything!! We then talked to presidente and he said that I will probably spend one more transfer in my area but with a new companion, so it's going to be a change for me, but at the same time it could change and I could be the one leaving. On Wednesday, we watched Presidente Nelson and it was so good!! Our new convert came with us and Presidente Nelson spoke in Spanish. It was so amazing!! You could feel the spirit so strong. The other thing was that on Saturday we worked a full day. We have our study time during the afternoon because it's the siesta tiempo for the people here, but on Saturday we had chartlas during the siesta, so we didn't come back to our pension until 9:00 that night... and we walked so much! From one end of our area to the other, so that was hard. It was also one of the first really hot days here in Argentina, but it was such a good day. That night we invited a family to be baptized and they accepted! They are so ready, and their little daughter who is 3 years old always calls me Pollo and never remembers my companions name, it's so fun. One thing I would like to share with you is something President Nelson said, to always remember your covenants with God and to attend the temple. 1 Month until General Conference

Yay we had a baptism this week por fin!!!!!!! It was so good, the family came with 8/14 of their kids so that was good!!! and the kids were so happy to get baptized! We also had two of the young men who are 16 years old baptize them. It was really cute to see them have their first baptism. Other than that, like always, not much happened. We had a tranquila semana and for two days I was with a different hermana. We had a great time together and we made brownies which was my first time in the mission. They were so good!!!! Remember that we are one month away from general conference and so we have a little time to prepare!!!! But how awesome it is to learn more about Joseph Smith and his story and how important it is to know that through Joseph Smith, we have the church of Jesus Christ again on the earth and the chance to have the gospel in our lives and feel this happiness that it brings into our lives! Love you all and hope that you all have a great week and make good decision...

Happy New Year ya'll!!!!!! This week was really good! Well, in some ways. First of all, New Years Day was just a chill day, we didn't do anything, just hung out with other missionaries and played games and watched movies. It was really fun! Other than that, there was only one other thing that really happened on Saturday, which was really kinda funny. So what happened is that this day was kinda hard for us because we didn't really feel very good, but we had so many people that yelled at us when we were in the street. Lots of members from other places, but the funniest one was when this drunk guy yelled at us and said "hermanas, when are you going to come and visit me?" and he crossed the street to come and talk to us, which we did, and he said that it was really hard to read our names and that they were in English so he didn't understand our names, but then he said that he wanted a book so we gave him a folleto and then he told us to give him one of our chu...

Transfers!

Hey everyone, this week was kinda crazy! It was my last week in my first area, Italia Centro.. RIP... but now I´m in a new area called San Martin (Misiones, Posadas) it is so cool and way different than my first area. This place has red dirt, hills, and trees. So it's way different than what I ́m used to, but I know that it will be really good for me, and that God has prepared this place and the people for me and my companion. Before I actually came to this area, in my older area, I ran into a tree... I thought you might like to know that. The only tree in Formosa, and I happened to run into it. But I ́m fine, I just have a little mark not too noticeable, but I'll send a picture. My new companion ́s name is Hermana Rowlings and she is from Nebraska. She only has for months left in the mission, so this will probably end up being her last area, so I have no idea how long I will be here.
