One year más!!!

Well, this week was kinda long for me. But we will start off with this one story. On Tuesday I was in divisions with the Hermana with the same time as me. We were contacting, and were talking to this lady, and she told us to sit down so we could talk. So we grabbed some chairs and started to talk to her. But the thing was, she wouldn't talk back to us. We know she knows how, because she talked a little. But she took the folleto that we were talking about, opened it up, and would point to the page. So then we would just explain that page. She did that with the whole folleto without saying a word. I was kinda just like, ok if you're not going to talk, I'm just going to testify to you about everything in this folleto. It was about the Plan of Salvation. At first in the lesson we couldn't really feel the Spirit, but by the end, it was so strong and we could see that something changed in her heart. So I said we could end with a prayer, she said yes and my companion for the day offered the prayer, and when she was closing the lady put her hands on top of our heads... it was really weird, but in her eyes you could tell she was tearing up. But, she was a little crazy. The rest of this week we have just been working hard with some of our investigators to get them ready for baptism, but were moved to different weeks because of some stuff that passed. Then Friday to like Sunday my companion and I were sick. First it was me on Friday, then her on Saturday, then both of us on Sunday... not really fun but we did work a little with our important chartlas. 1 Month until General Conference

Yay we had a baptism this week por fin!!!!!!! It was so good, the family came with 8/14 of their kids so that was good!!! and the kids were so happy to get baptized! We also had two of the young men who are 16 years old baptize them. It was really cute to see them have their first baptism. Other than that, like always, not much happened. We had a tranquila semana and for two days I was with a different hermana. We had a great time together and we made brownies which was my first time in the mission. They were so good!!!! Remember that we are one month away from general conference and so we have a little time to prepare!!!! But how awesome it is to learn more about Joseph Smith and his story and how important it is to know that through Joseph Smith, we have the church of Jesus Christ again on the earth and the chance to have the gospel in our lives and feel this happiness that it brings into our lives! Happy New Year ya'll!!!!!! This week was really good! Well, in some ways. First of all, New Years Day was just a chill day, we didn't do anything, just hung out with other missionaries and played games and watched movies. It was really fun! Other than that, there was only one other thing that really happened on Saturday, which was really kinda funny. So what happened is that this day was kinda hard for us because we didn't really feel very good, but we had so many people that yelled at us when we were in the street. Lots of members from other places, but the funniest one was when this drunk guy yelled at us and said "hermanas, when are you going to come and visit me?" and he crossed the street to come and talk to us, which we did, and he said that it was really hard to read our names and that they were in English so he didn't understand our names, but then he said that he wanted a book so we gave him a folleto and then he told us to give him one of our chu...

Transfers!

Hey everyone, this week was kinda crazy! It was my last week in my first area, Italia Centro.. RIP... but now I´m in a new area called San Martin (Misiones, Posadas) it is so cool and way different than my first area. This place has red dirt, hills, and trees. So it's way different than what I ́m used to, but I know that it will be really good for me, and that God has prepared this place and the people for me and my companion. Before I actually came to this area, in my older area, I ran into a tree... I thought you might like to know that. The only tree in Formosa, and I happened to run into it. But I ́m fine, I just have a little mark not too noticeable, but I'll send a picture. My new companion ́s name is Hermana Rowlings and she is from Nebraska. She only has for months left in the mission, so this will probably end up being her last area, so I have no idea how long I will be here.
