Letter From Aliza

This week was really good.  The more I put my faith in my Lord, the better my days are, and the more I forget myself and get to work, the happier I am while working! Anyways, this week we got our hot water back!!  So my days are good. A funny thing that happens to me and my companion a lot is when we are contacting.  We tend to contact members houses. We are both new to the area so we don't know where the members live and we always tend to contanct members. One really amazing and awesome thing that happened this week was we were contacting, and we clapped at this one house and we told her that we are missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She was like enter, so we talked to her and found out that she used to talk to some missionaries, but I can't remember how long ago.  We taught her the plan of salvation and invited her to church on Sunday and we left. It was a contact, so we didn't really expect her to show, because they never do after the first contact. But when I was conducting the music on Sunday, I looked out and saw that she showed up to church by herself!!  I was like trying not to freak out in front of everyone. I was so happy and she stayed for both hours of church.  I gave her a Book of Mormon and she seemed really interested, so I am so excited about teaching her!

Anyways, I am doing really good, really starting to enjoy the mission and I found that it is really nice that I am able to talk to my companion a little and communicate with her.  That makes my life in the mission a lot easier.  Anyways, love you all so much!  Hope you have a fantastic week!
